Hello all.
If anybody needed any further evidence of WMDs in Iraq, google serach UNEP (United Nations Environmental Protocol) and Iraq environment desk study. They have marked off the locations of the chemical weapons facilities.
The press really has their heads up their arses.

Re: The ignorant press, and WMDs
Sat, November 6, 2004 - 5:46 PMThe facilities existed, and the weapons used. This is undebatable. This establishes that he [Saddam] had the ability and the motive to continue their manufacture. -

Re: The ignorant press, and WMDs
Tue, November 9, 2004 - 3:45 AMNot really. The facilities existed 13 years ago - long before Desert Fox. -

Wed, November 10, 2004 - 1:49 AMI see where your going with that Salil, and its a good point. The facilites existed 13 years ago... And we targeted and destroyed them in gulf war I. Now stop and think a minute, he built them once before, then had more than seven years without UN inspections (not that when they were happening that they were effective) which means he had the opportunity, Saddams staff included at least one well educated chemist (a doctor nonetheless), which means he has the means to facilitate WPM, specifically, chemical weapons. I really don't understand what the stretch is here.

Thu, November 11, 2004 - 9:47 PMintent, but not the means. And after Desert Fox, in 1998, they were probably gone.
I'm a huge believer in the WMD issue, I just dont think this is a smoking gun
